Sunday
ride May 31 By Jack
Well we set off from the Road House fashionably late, 9 bikes,
3 of which were 'doubled up'.

We spent a few stressful minutes getting through Malaga and not finding the turn
off for the road I wanted to use rather than the motorway but had to take the A45.
A quick stop for one of us to top up his 2 litre tank and a scenic ride to Colmenar
for a couple of bebidas.

Another set of looping roads
led us to our destination, Restaurante El Estacion
near Periana where
we had been promised a hero's welcome if we returned
with our bike
friends but IT WAS BLOODY CLOSED.
Never mind we had spotted
another restaurant when we had practised
our U turns a few minutes previously.

We were later joined by a few
stragglers we had seen at the
Road House but had taken a different
route and a good time
was had by all.
The return ride was spoiled by too many traffic
lights and annoying
kids on scooters zipping in and out of the
group but the Road House
counselling team came to the rescue
with the foaming ale. Well done
you.
Regards, Jack
