26/3 Was invited, as a long time member of HDC Sweden, to HDC Malaga's clubhouse in Fuengirola port where we discussed the Spanish and European Federations. It was a gr8 evening with gr8 people even if we had some language barriers as my Spanish sucks!! I'm really ashamed, not to be able to speak after all this years in this hood. 10/3 Still bad weather, nothing is going on. Today It has been sunshine but cold winds so using the bike is not fun. However today's news say it will be better from now on. Hope they are right. There is a lot happening upcoming weeks in Fuengirola area. Smokie plays in the Castillo, Costa Riders day, and a lot of other stuff. You can read all about it on our daily updated Facebook.

22/2 and still raining!
Not much you can do if you don't have a nice garage to spend hours in. Mine is not so nice, safe but no power for tools and machines. Daytona is on this week, also in rain as far as Steve Kelly says on our Facebook. And there are lots of events coming up, I cant put them all on the site but all invitations, all over the world, we are invited to is in the list on our Facebook. If you don't have an account, now its time to get one. Facebook gives us daily updates and you have private space for pictures, videos and a lot more.

Sad Bad News!! Road House Bar is now history! The owner of the place made it impossible for Sue and Charlie to keep the bar open any longer. Each month he tried to get extra money on top of the rental agreement. More and more clients started to visit the bar and the owner saw his chance to get more out of his old and crappy property. He will probably try to take the clients over, so DO NOT GO THERE and feed the b***...
Sue and Charlie are looking for another place, but Its not easy to find something that fits for bikers.
In the mean time there are Costa Riders Bar in Torreblanca roundabout for us down here at the coast to meet in. A graet place also, but they don't speak much english, or serve any meals as at Road House.
Finally the weather is back after all rain in Spain. Almost a month without riding our bikes really suks! Today we started out from Costa Riders Bar in Carvajal, Fuengirola to visit 53:s biker meeting at Grahams in Estepona. Lots of bikes was there, some you can see here, the rest on our Facebook site.

The party is at the Target shopping center that is located from San Pedro to Estepona on the slipway just after the road to benahavis.
26/1. Rain, rain, rain.. What's happening here? Normally 50-100 bikes pass my house in a day, now its really quiet out there. The waves are meter high and only the kite boarders and fishing guys are out there jumping around. Where is the sunshine we are used 2? Anyway, left the bike outside the other night so now its clean again, hi pressure rain storms can make a different.
Reminds me about a friend long time ago who temporary was working in Oman and had his Corvette parked outside the house. A sand storm arrived in the night and next morning the car was sandblasted all over, he was not happy... One week round trip to Cordoba, Sevilla, Mérida, Andújar, Jaen, Granada, Nerja. Read it here!!
7/1 2010 Guardarrails... Haze Blog
Finally the government have to pay up 120,000 euros to a biker who felled of his Ducati 750 in a water planning accident on the N-340. He hit his legs in a pole holding the rails so hard that an amputation was needed. Its far from what a missed leg is worth, (according to spanish law 240.000 for a young person) but Its better than 0 as It has been for all similar accidents before (306!! in 2008).
A missed leg can't be valued in money, so hopefully this case will start new roadworks, adding new guadarrials all over spain
as they started in Navarra who are spending 300.000 2010 for 7.000 meter more rails adding to the 39.000 they finiched 2009.
So please...Stay on the wheels until then..

The masterclass takes places at the Supermoto circuit of Karting Campillos. This impressive and unique Supermoto circuit is an ample two kilometres in length with a asphalt track-width of 10 metres. Apart from that the circuit consists of a challenging off-road part with many nice curves, table-jumps and even a 40 metres downhill. The off-road part has a length of about 400 metres. 4/1 2010 Happy New Year all of you out there on the roads..
Last week now in spain with christmas holidays and celebrations. The 6th is presents-day for spanish kids. Down here at the cost Its been raining for weeks, with a few days in normal sunshine. Haven't been out with the bike yet but I have seen brand new protection rails (guardarrail) for bikers mounted on the road to Ojen.. that's great, so thanks all 60.000 bikers who show up in Madrid to say NO to all dangerous roads.
In sweden the government use cables to shop bikers up, and no one says a shit..
Anyway! Have to say that Spain has fantastic riders in almost all category's. World champions all over.. except for Rossi, the doctor. In MotoGP the spanish riders had 22 victories, same as the record 2007. 25 runner ups, 25 3rd, 72 podiums, and 26 poles. Its 45% of the victorys 2009. I guess you all know their names. In Dakar we have Mark Coma, Jordi Viladoms, Gerars Farres and others. In Trail Toni Bou, in enduro Ivan Cervantes... etc etc.. respect!
Road Alhaurin to Coin reopened
For those who haven’t noticed the road between Alhaurin el Grande and
Coin reopened this week. It has been closed for approximate. eight months
for renovation. I haven’t ride it yet but it’s a road that I have used
a lot before it closed. I think it’s the best road to use to get out
on the country side from Fuengirola. So this is really GOOD news! According
to “Euro weekly”, the road has been widened, several bends and hills
have been eliminated and the surface improved. There is still some work
going on, but it should be completed before the end of January. MERRY

People visiting all day. It was a surprise party as wally been prospect in
Swedish Savages MC for a while and today got his full membership and
new "stickers" on his back. A
happy day for him and all us who was there. Some of you missed
the huge b-day cake that was served later on the day. Many left early
as it is two other big events this evening in Estepona and Gibraltar
they wanted to visit after this party.

We all know that speed, sound, chrome and power is important and on
the list when we are going to buy a bike. If you buy a Harley you will
get the sound and chrome for a lot of money. The power and speed you
will get from Japan or Europe.
This little article will focus on the speed factor as many of us believe that
a huge engine equals to a fast bike or car. Or that lots of horsepower makes
the bike faster.
We know that a full speed Hayabusa will blow your pants off if you stand to close
when it pass you. But how fast do they usually go all this fast bikes? 300km/hour?
Yea, that's about the limit they usually breaks on youtube etc. And that is fast!
What's your limit? 160? 200? Have you done 250?
I have in a car, but on bike,
no way.
Lets say you want to do "only" 250-280.. what do you need to get there?
A 1400cc? a 600cc? or just a 250cc?
I think you will get a bit surprised if I tell you some of this years
track speed records on the motoGP.
On Sepang with 14 curves and 5600 meters track:
125cc/
227,7km/hAprilla.250cc/261,6km/h
Aprilla. 800cc/314,6 Ducati.
On a track with all curves!!!
On Estoril, 13 curves and 4190 meter: 125cc/245,6km/h
Derbi.250cc/285km/h Aprilla.800cc/327,6km/h
Ducce.
Valencia, 14 curves and 4005 meter: 125cc/230km/h Derbi. 250cc/265,2km/h
Aprilla. 800cc/313km/h
Ducati.
etc, etc. What I can see there was no record under 200km/h this year.
So if I would like to go really fast I can just buy me a 125cc and keep my other
bike/s for my daily rides under 150km/h. A 250 looks a bit toooo fast 4 me.

that I really need to upgrade some parts, like back brakes and both tyres. Its
like riding speedway in the rotondas. Brackets broken both in front and back.
Some guys even want me to take the cardboard windsheild off, I dont understand

for a few days and we will help them have a good time and some good

week we have arranged a little party at The
Roadhouse Bar in Mijas Costa on Thursday evening.
Starting from 19,00. Bring all your biker friends and have a fun evening.
It's also a great opportunity to meet other los guiris members you

A truckload of swedish bikes will
arrive Madrid this week. 29 bikes from famous bike club Twin Club
Norrtälje in Sweden will arrive by plane and ride the bikes down
to Fuengirola. Hopefully we will get a few pictures from their visit
on the coast. ( I will for sure write an article as usual for Harley
Davidson Swedens Magazine). They will probably take a trip to Bikers

22/9 Today a great day on the bike. Met a lot
of friends, visited Ferry at Hot dreams, some bikers bars, clients etc. Still
not many bikers out there, the once I met today all asking the same questions,
where the heck are everyone? Still on holidays or??
Anyway, you all know that Ferry took the first prize over there
again, so I went over to c what's up in the garage today. There
was full action as usual so It was no time to make a story. But

If you ride a hangover styled
bike for fast corners you can always join Gary and the
boys on their weekend rides. Riders in Fuengirola-Mijas area meet
up at Road House Bar at 10.00, then they "go" to the
biker bar half way up on ronda road (San Pedro side) where all
other costa del sol riders are hovering and just waiting to go
full speed in different directions. Bring some extra money for
the speeding tickets.. Nothing we recommend for newbees!
